Finance/Accounts Executive
Boxgreen is looking for a Junior Accounts Executive who loves numbers and maintaining the books. You will be helping to manage the financial backbone of the company making sure financial records are kept up to date.

The Role:
- Perform daily accounting operations and responsible for month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare and review full set of accounts for various entities
- Prepare journal entries for general ledgers
- Assist with preparing audit schedule, financial and management reports
- Assist with preparing and generating sales invoices & debit notes
- Review aged receivables to assist in AR collection and report on weekly incoming AR
- Setting up payments for multiple entities
- Checking of supplier SOA with outstanding balance in our books
- Ensuring purchase orders and bills are in order
- Ensure proper filing of invoices
- Setting up / improving current processes being done
- Assist in closing of the books for multiple entities, this includes:
- Month end journal entries (Accruals, revenue, inventory, prepayments, fixed asset depreciations)
- Bank & petty cash reconciliation
- Expense claim reimbursement
- Ensuring all AP invoices have been keyed in
- Retrieving all sales report from distribution channels and passing of the relevant journal entries
- General ledger check
- Balance sheet schedule check
- Intercompany billings
- Assist with ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy / Finance or ACCA
- At least 1 to 2 years relevant working experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply!
- A fast learner who is able to work independently
- Able to work with tight reporting deadlines
- Meticulous and good communication and written skills
- Positive working attitude with positive energy
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot table, v-lookup)
- Knowledge of Xero will be an added advantage
- Able to start work imm or with short notice
